BOAZ JOHN ONDU ONYUNA

Sunrise: 1945 – Sunset: 20th October 2020

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr. Boaz John Ondu Onyuna which occurred on Tuesday 20th October 2020. He retired as an assistant Head Postmaster, Kisumu.

Son of the late Wilson Onyuna, the late Grace Origa and the late Plister Juma. Beloved husband of Ruth Awino Ondu. Brother to Elmada Asewe, Musa Onyuna, Silpa Owino, the late Claudio Ochiewo and the late Mathlida Ayata. Cousin of the late Walter Agumba. He is survived by his children: Jemima Ondu, Lilian Ondu, Duncan Ondu, Wycliffe Ondu, Erick Ondu, Joshua Mbogha Ondu, Evans Ondu, Victor Ondu and the late Martin Ondu. The daughters in law are: Dr. Rose Kathambi, Emily Mitoko, Beryl Awuor, Jane Amunga, Verine Mwamba and Elizabeth Sikuku. In-law to Monica Adhiambo, Penine Asewe, Angeline Agumba, Siprosa Agumba and the late Penina Ochiewo. He leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Funeral Home, Kisumu on Friday 30th October 2020.

Burial will take place on Saturday 31st October 2020 at his home in East Koguta, Sigoti, Upper Nyakach Division near Kibwon Primary School from 9.00 a.m.

Even in death we still love you dad. Rest well with the angels till we meet again.
