JAMES GEORGE GEKONGE SIRO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of James George Gekonge Siro which occurred on Thursday 22nd October 2020,at Kisii Teaching and Referal Hospital. George was an employee of Kisii County Government.

He was son of Silvanus Siro Bichage and Clemencia Kwamboka Siro. Husband of Faith Amondi Apiyo. Father of Chelsea Moraa Siro of Pangani Girls. Brother of Alice Monene (Nyamira County), Mary Mitema (Nairobi), Roseline Nyandigisi (Highridge Girls), Innocent Bichage (St. Lukes Boys Kimilili), Benjamin Mokoro (Survey of Kenya HQS), Benard Monari (Canada) Joseph Ombaba,Veronicah Barongo (Sarova Stanely), Charles Makori and Robert Oginda (Eco Bank).

Son-in-law of the late Gilbert Apiyo and late Rosemary and Beldina. Brother-in-law of George, Enock, Claudius, Albert, Monene, the late Mitema, Joshua Nyandigisi, Jacqueline, Sophy, Maureen Monari and Esther. Uncle of Moses Denning, Allan, Mark, Arnold, Ashley, Marcus, Winstone, Corrine, Michael, Brandan, Shirlyn, Tyra, Ryan, Bianca, Sam, Zahra Rose. He was a grandson of Late Bichage Osano & Late Mwango, Late Onyiego Ogwora and Mona.

Cousin of Hon. Momoima Onyonka, the Bichage’s, Gekonge’s, Monari’s, Osano’s, the Onyiego’s and many more. Nephew of Oigo, Nyabena, Obwoge, Ombaba, Kibeti, Aguta, Otwori, Oyaro, Makori, Nyambogi, Nyakundi, Obegi (all late), Christopher Osano, Hon. Chris Bichage, Pacifica, Monyancha Concepts, (Sr. Damian,Angwenyi, Prisca, Onsongo (all late), Teresa, Dr Akenga, Mary Sese, Francisca, Lucy Nyangau, Gladys Getugi, John and Kaunda.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his parent’s home in Eremo Village, Keumbu Division, Kisii Central Sub-County and at Kisii Mwalimu Hotel for prayers and burial arrangements.

Main harambee will be held on Wednesday 4th November 2020 at Mwalimu Hotel Kisii.

The cortege will leave Kisii Teaching and Referral Funeral home on Friday 6th of November 2020 at 08:30 am for a funeral service at his home Eremo Village, Keumbu, Kisii County.
