It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the Passing on of Samwel Wanyonyi Kitutu on Tuesday 27th October, 2020 while undergoing critical medical care.

Husband of Joyce Nafula Wanyonyi. Son of late Absalom Kitutu and Truphena Abanyasit. Brother of Reuben Ang’ejai, Mary Ipaat Abwaku, Wycliffe Itapar, Aggrey Imwene, Norah Itukule Wanzala, Margaret Amusugut, the late Jephter Ikamar, Milka Amusugut, Francis Ikapdik, Wellington Ang’ejai,Ruth Ikwaras, Joshua Omusugu, the late Ekurut, Haggai Soita and Francisca Masika. Loving father of late Emmanuel, Ascar Abanyasit (Immigration), Maurine C. Amachar (TSC), Esther Imuge(MOH Kisumu County), Stella Atela (UN-WEFP), Emma Ipata (TSC), Lt. Col. Mark J. Awala (KDF), Qs. Martha Merikol (ICRAF) and the late Arnold.

Father-in-law of Abiud Mayende, Martin Barasa, George Odhiambo, Dr.Allan Liavoga, Julius Olima,Michael Makhanu and Carolyne Awala. Brother-in-law of late Aggrey Abwaku, late Nelson Mganda, Levi Mganda, Henry Mganda, Augustine Makhulo, Tiberious Okitoi, Benard Omachar, Manasseh Oleket among others. Cousin of David Okunyuk, Benson Itapara, Ishmael Papa, Niconor Okumu among others. Uncle of the Abwaku’s, Wanzala’s, Mganda’s, Obonyo’s, Emoit’s, Racheal Mumelo, Mary Wabule among others. His legacy will live on in the 20 grandchildren he leaves behind; Boaz, Cynthia, Daniel, Marjorie, Lewis, Paul, Nicole, Sue, Clarence, Melisa, Myles, Joy, Emmanuel, Angel, Abigael, Ryan, Mila, Gianna, Joanna and Darion.

The cortege leaves Nairobi on Tuesday 3rd November, 2020 for an overnight stay at his home.

Papa will be laid to rest on Wednesday 4th November, 2020 at his home in Mwari Village, Teso North, Busia County.
