JORAM OLWANDE OBONYO

It is with humble acceptance to God’s will that we announce the passing of Joram Olwande Obonyo which occurred on21st October 2020 at his home in Ruma village, Uyoma Katwenga.

Son of the late Zachary Obonyo and the late Roslida Achola Obonyo. Son-in-law to the late Charles Onyango Okungu and Truphosa Onyango of Alego Kaugagi. Beloved husband to Grace Anyango Olwande. Father to the late Steve Othieng Olwande, Rose Emily Akinyi, Robert Philip Odemo, Richard Zachary Opiyo, Edward Charles Odongo, Truphosa Risper Atieno, Jacinta Muiyuro and Lillian Odongo. Grandfather to Stephan Joram Obonyo Ochieng. He was a brother to Charles Ogutu Obonyo, the late Alice Ochung, the late John Oloo Obonyo, Clarisa Atieno Obonyo, the late Osewe Obonyo, Meshack Ochieng, Maurice Okumu Ngoti, the late Fannuel Walter Odede,Amos Otieno, James Okoth, John Oloo and Mrs Risper Ombaka.

Brother-in-law to Rosemary Adhiambo and Antony Ragonga, the late Susanne Opemi, Dr George Onyango and Susanne Onyango, Winnie Akinyi, Emily Sadiq, Jane Nyambu and Henry Nyambu, Betty Shaw and Robert Shaw, the late Florence Akoth Hyaisn, Josephine Ragonga, Benard Onyango, Leonard Onyango, Emily Achieng Okoth, Felistas Ochieng. Uncle to the late Mrs Pamela Mboya, Alice Magollo, Dr Parry Odede and Roselyn Odede, the late Dr Patrick Lumumba Odede, Harry Akech Odede, Janet Owuor, Margaret, Rachel Ogutu, Susanne Odede Timothy Ogutu and Fredrick Odede.

The cortege will be leaving on 6th November 2020 from Star Annex mortuary for his home in Ruma Village, Uyoma, where he will be laid to rest on 7th November 2020.

The government COVID-19 regulations will be adhered to.
