CAROLINE WANJIKU MATHENGE “SHIKO”

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Caroline Wanjiku Mathenge on 5th November, 2020 while undergoing treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital, private wing. Until her demise, she was the Director of Physical Planning, Kirinyaga County.

Daughter of Stephen Mathenge Mwihia and Lucy Waithira Mathenge. Beloved Mother of Baby Steve Myles Mathenge. Beloved Sister of Fredrick Mwihia Mathenge (Fred Mwihia & Co. Advocates), Eric Muraya Mathenge (Liberty Life Assurance (K) Ltd). Sister-in-law of Serah Waitherero Mwihia and Joyce Mbinya Muraya., Lovely aunt of Steve Mathenge,Eddie Mathenge and Elsie Waithera Mwihia.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her father’s residence in Kiangai, Kirinyaga County and at Holy Family Basilica at 5pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital Farewell Home on Friday, 13th November, 2020 for the burial to be held at Kiangai Sub-location, Ndia Division, Kirinyaga County.
