It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on of Mama Nereah Were Omune of Ruga Village, Kanyada, Noma-bay County on 28th October 2020.

Wife of the late Mzee Hezron Omune Onyando. Co-wife to the late Sibia Nyagilo, the late Beldina Odero and the late Deborah Okoth. Daughter of the late Mzee Moses Okundi and the late Dorcas Okundi. Sister of the late Johnson Ayieko, Eng. Phillip Okundi, the late Jonathan Okeyo, the late Hellen Owour, the late Helida Ogada, the late Charles, the late Dan, the late Luke, the late Caleb, the late Peres, the late Margret, the late Meshack, Elizabeth, the late Tom and Lazarus Okundi. Mother of the late Jared, Benson, Boaz, Phelgona, Tobias, Joash, Milka, the late Judith, Emily and Okello.

Mother-in-law of Phoebe, Tabitha, Grace, Jacque, Betty, Nancy, the late Wilson, the late Cowell and Tobias. Grandmother of Herbert, Vivian, Bilha, Marren, Lavendar, the late Leyla, the late Irene, Daisy, Judy, Edwin, Jecko, James, David, Phoebe, Velma, Kendrick, Julia, Beryl, Vera, Hezron, Tyler, Tevin, Eddie, Bradley, Godwin, Kelly, Joan, Kelvis, Brian, Austin, Dickens, Davis, Diana, Judy, Mariella, Tracy, Ruby and several great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Med25 International Mortuary (Kirindo), Homa-bay County, on 19th November, 2020 and the burial will be held on 20th November 2020 at her home in Ruga Village-Kanyada, Asego Location, Homa-bay County.
