It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Dr. James Kipyegon Tumo of Karara farm, Moi’s bridge and Eldama Ravine after a short illness.

Son of the Late Cheruiyot Cheptalam, the Late Teriki Cheruiyot, the Late Kabon Cheruiyot and Talai Cheruiyot. Son in-law of Paul Muchui, Sarah Njoki, Gogo Maria and Gogo Stanley. Brother of Talai Kimeli, Wilson Cheruiyot, the Late Talai Sarguta, Edward Cheruiyot, Lilian Rono, Wilfred Cheruiyot, Michael, Stanley, Samson, Talai Sobiro, Andrew,Thomas ,Wesley, the Late Chelulei, David, Chepkorir, Nixon, John, the late Joseph, Catherine, the late Alfred and Jerotich.

Loving husband of the Late Margaret Waithira Tumo, Christine Tumo and Leah Kimeto. Devoted father of Rawlings, Carolyn, Fridah, Joan, Rodgers, Winnie, Tonny, the Late Gilbert, Elyvalet, Lydia, Jackline, Jesca, Sam and Lilian. Caring grandfather of Mercy, Kimutai, Kibiwot, Reagan, Ivanna, Yvette, Naomi, Chloe, Kirwa and Belvine.

Friends and relatives meet daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his homes, Karara, Moi’s Bridge and Kabunyony, Eldama Ravine and White Highlands Hotel, Eldoret at 4pm. There will be a fundraising on Sunday 15.11.2020 at Karara Farm Moi’s Bridge and Kabunyony Eldama Ravine at 2pm.

The Cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital (Mortuary) on 18.11.2020 at 7.30am for burial at his Karara farm home, Moi’s bridge at 10.00am.
