PAUL MACHINA KAMOCHU (GICHUKI)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Paul Machina Kamochu (Gichuki) that occurred on Tuesday 10th November 2020 after a long illness boldy borne. He hails from Gachege village Gatundu North in Kiambu County.
Son of the late Kamochu Macharia and Benedetto Wangarl. Loving husband of Margaret Njeri and Jacinta Magiri. Father of the late Kamochu Macharia, Francis Gathingira (Ngoingwa), Benedetta Kangeri (Kahawa), Mary Wainaina (Embu), the late Bernard Ngugi, Sr. Rechael Wanjiru (Little Sisters Si Francis Nakuru), Boniface Kamochu (Thika), James Karanja (Ruiru), Wangari Mwangi (DoD), Wambui Thiga (Ol Kalou), the late Monica Wanja, Mary Nyambura (Juja), Muthoni Njugia (Emali), Patricia Wambui (TSC), Wanjiku Nganga (Eldoret), Mwihaki Thuo (Gakoe), Wairimu Githuka (USA), Andrew Chege, Stanley Ngugi (Kenya Army), Francis Ndung’u, Michael Njoroge (Kenya Army), Simon Mwea, Wamoro Kuria (Namanga) and Njeri Wangethi (Nairobi). Brother of Peter Chege, Magiri Kimani, Wambui Karoko, Paul Nyanjui and Jacinta Njeri. Cousin, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Gachege and at Macvast Hotel Thika 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home —KU Thika Rd Tomorrow Thursday 19th November 2020 at 8.00am for a Requiem service at St Teresa of Avilla Catholic Church Gachege starting at 11 00a.m. Thereafter interment at his farm Lirera near Gachege Tea Factory.
