SISTER VINCENCIA ORIGA
The Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph Asumbi, announce the death of our beloved Sister Vincencia Origa, which occurred 09/11/2020, at Christamarianne Mission Hospital Kisii.
Daughter of the late Raphael Origa and the late Anastasia Auma Origa of Kano Kabonyo Kwakungu Sub-Location Kanyachula Village Kisumu County, Arch Diocese of Kisumu. Step-daughter of the late Priscilla Onyuka Origa and the late Yunia Ondenge Origa. Her siblings include the late Emmanuel Odumba, the late Stephen Aguko, Sulmena Aoko, Felistas Omwanda, Teresa Okumu, Francis Ogelo, Rev.Fr. Charles Odeny, Mary Juma, Rev. Vincencent Yoga, Mark Origa, the late Lucas Matengo, Scholastica Adhiambo and Veronica Origa. She had religious nieces in the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph Srs. Conrad and Sr. Pauline Elsa, among others.
The cortege leaves Christamarrianne Mission Hospital Kisii, on 20/11/2020, for reception mass at St. Theresa’s Mother House Chapel.
There will be a funeral and burial mass on Friday 20/11/2020 will take place at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church Asumbi Parish, at 10.00am and thereafter burial at Asumbi Cemetery.
Sr. Viny, you have fought a good fight and kept the faith. May you rest in eternal peace. Amen!
