It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Simon Ndabu Maina, after a short illness.

Beloved son of the late Peter Maina and Emily Wathura, brother of Nelson Kuhora, Mwangi, Mithia, Loice Nyambura, Charity Mugoiri and the late Jane Njeri. Father in law to Linet Kathomi, Martha Kabura and Mercy Obura. Uncle to the late Emily Kuhora, Susan Kuhora, Ann Kuhora, Monicah Kuhora, Emmah Mugoiri, Wanjiku Mugoiri, Emmah Nyambura, Mercy Nyambura, Maina Njeri, Emmah Mithia, Wahinya Mithia, Emily Njeri, Emmah Mwangi, Wamaitha Mwangi, Njeri Mwangi, Nyambura Mwangi, David Irungu, Ann Njeri, Lucy Njambi, James Maina, Ester Njambi, . Ester Wanja, George Irungu, Daniel Nguru and Joseph Ciera.

Loving husband to Lilian Njeri Irungu. Devoted father to Peter Maina Ndabu, Joseph Irungu Ndabu and Nelson Kuhora Ndabu. Caring grandfather of Simon Ndabu Maina, Simon Ndabu Kuhora, Lilian Njeri Maina, Lilian Njeri Kuhora, Carmilla Maina, Theo-James Ndabu Irungu, Leo-Myles Njuguna Irungu.

Friends and relatives meet daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home in Utawala Githunguri at 5pm.

The Cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home (Mbagathi) on 19th November 2020 at 08:00am for a mass to be held in Utawala at St Kizito Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. The burial will be held at Langata Cemetary at 1.00 PM the same day.
