SALOME MARIANNA NYANSERA

Sister Marianna Nyansera who rested on 8th November 2020 was an incredible professional, a flawless mum & an impeccable member of the Bonchari community. For more than 30 years, she rendered a formidable service in many public hospitals as a nurse – and won many accolades before retiring from KTRH In 2005. She then took to community service, farming and home-based care nursing, helping to save many lives. She charged nothing for all her first-rate nursing and farming services.

So when news trickled in that Sister had lost the fight against her brief illness at KNH, sombre mood quickly engulfed the whole Kisli South community. Sister’s body was moved to KTRH morgue, the last institution at which she offered her first-class service.

She was Beloved wife of Protus Nyansera Oroo, former KNUT Executive Secretary, Gusii, & Vice Chair, ACDC, who also rested on 14th November, 2020. Daughter of the late Edmond Onyonka & the late Anna Nyaboke of Bogeka Mosocho, Kisil County. Daughter-In-law of the late Gilbert Oroo & the late Colomba Bonareri of Bogialmmu Location, Kisii South. Co-wife of the late Prisca Nyansera.

Sister of the late Andrew, Francis, the late William, Crocensia, Monday, the late Josephine & David Onyonka. Sister-in-law of Charles, George, Fred, Christine, Teresa, Mongina, Rosana, Mugu, among others. Mother In-law of Rose, Faith, Sam, Muthoni, Joash, Charles, Mark, among others. Loving auntie of the Nyabugas, Angwenyis, Mabirias, Mwawasis, Lumumbas Onyonkas, Marandos, Mogenis, Moongas, among others. Grandmother of Noville, LavIn, Trevor, Carol, Gidel, Natasha, Tiffany, Shawn, Tony, Berverline, Cydney, among others. Korera Samuel Mose, the late Siringi, Peter Onyancha, Kellen Nyaga and Dymphina Nyangau.

The Body is lying at KTRH Funeral Parlour. Meetings are held daily at her home Bomwanda (GEMAS) Bonchari Kisii and Isoge settlement scheme Ensakia. Major fundraising will be held on Tuesday, 24/11/2020, at Suneka – Monchari Bookshop, Gesonso- Monchari, at her home at Borabu Isoge & in Kisii ACDC Office – opposite Kisii High School.

Burial will take place at their Bomwanda Home on 27th November 2020 after a service at Suneka Catholic Church.
