It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Joseph Mutemi Syokila of Kitui County, Kitui West District, Kavonge village, which occurred on Monday 16th November, 2020, after a short illness.

Loving husband of Dories Mukeli. Father of Kennedy Muthui and Charity Tabitha. Son of the late Syokila Kitona and Tabitha Maiyu Syokila. Brother of Mutisya, Richard Mwathe, Muli, the late Syuki Syokila, Musee, Rhodah Kiilu, the late Mbovya Kikaka, the late Ndindi, the late Kavengi, among others. Brother-in-law of Jennifer Mutisya, Caro Mwathe, Kamene Syuld, Rhoda Mutua, among others. Loving uncle of Dorcas, Paul, Pricilla, Moses, Sylivester, Jennifer, Patricia (UK), Vundi, Frank, Jane, Jimmy, Alfred and Japheth (Aquinas High Sch.), among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home at Kavonge village from 4:00pm.

The cortege leaves Syongila Tribute mortuary on Wednesday 25th November, 2020 at 8:00am for a funeral service and burial at his home Mutonguni, Kavonge village, Kitui County.

What we once enjoyed, we can never lose, all what we love deeply becomes part of us.
