PASTOR FRANCIS MUHALYA MACKATIANI

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Pastor Francis Muhalya Mackatiani of ACK Khayega, Maseno North Diocese that occurred on 18th November 2020 at Kakamega Referral Hospital. He hailed from Shitochi Village Kakamega County.

A loving husband of Mama Phanice Achitsa. Father of Allan (ATC Kenya), Erick (Nairobi), Edward (Kakamega), Emelda (Kisumu), Rachael (County Government of Migori), Faith (Kiambu), Mechy (Mukumu Girls Primary), and Cynthia (County Government of Homabay). Brother of Akala, Dr. Mackatiani (UoN), Canon Frida, Joyce, Dorcas, Wilimina, Anna, Rhoda, Muhalia (late), Shisundi (late) and Jerida (late). Father-in-law of Catherine (Ministry of Health), Jacinta (Interior Ministry), Lilian (County Government of Kakamega), Maggy, Fred (County Government of Homabay), Edwin (Nairobi Water Company) and Osoti (Gold Star Kenya). In-law of Irene and Donald. Grandfather of Linda, Maura, Biden, Limack, Mike, Zach, Andrew, Ryan, Nikita, Alexis, Daisy, and Andisi. Cousin and uncle to many.

Requiem Mass will be held on 26th November at Saint Faith ACK Church, Khayega from 9.00am to 12.00 Noon.

The cortege will leave Kakamega Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday 27th November at 7.30am, for burial the same day at his home in Shitochi village from 8.30am to 11.30am.
