Samuel Ben Maoga

We the family of Okioma Mosongo, deeply regret the sudden demise of Samuel Ben Maoga which occurred suddenly on Thursday, February 27th, 2020.

Samuel was the beloved son of the late Samuel Arasa Mosongo and Elizabeth Shighadi Mosongo of Kebirigo, Nyamira County. Grandson of the late Sir Charles Okioma Mosongo and the late Zipporah Kiyondi Mosongo of Kebirigo, Nyamira County, and Dishon Shangala and Rahel Gombe of Taita Taveta County. Son in-law of Joseph Barmao and Christine Barmao of Lotonyok location, Ngeleltarit village, Eldoret. Husband of Zenah Barmao. Father of Trevor Maoga, Timothy Mosongo and Tiffany Moraa. Brother of Julius Kamanda, Lillian Bosibori and Dickson Shangala. Brother in-law of David, Alfred, Isaac, Simotwo, Ben, Jacqueline, Maxwell, Noel, Frederick, Ruth and Mercy. Uncle of Stephany, Mbugua, Sammy, Lord Denzel, Collins, Kevin, Nathaniel, Emmanuel, and many others.

Nephew of Kerubo Kimari, the late Julius Kamanda, Moraa and David Amoro, George and the late Rose Mosongo, Dorcas and the late Stephen Nyaundi, Patrick and Jane Mosongo, Kennedy and Grace Mosongo, Gladys Mokeira, the late John Matasa, the late Emilia Mwemba and the late Samuel Mwadime. Cousin of Robert, Paul, Nyokabi, Mwango, Sylvia, Michelle, Jeff, Dishon, Stanley, Rachel, Oliver, Aggrey, Rufus and many more from the Mosongo and Shangala families.

On Thursday 12th March we shall assemble at Umash Funeral Home at 7.30a.m for a small service then depart for Kebirigo, Nyamira County at 9.00a.m.

We shall lay Sammy to rest on Friday, March 13th, 2020 at the family home in Kebirigo. The programme will start at 10.00a.m.
