It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to Glory of Mary Wangui Mbaru (Mama Alan) of Kiriaini, Mathioya, Murang’a.

Beloved wife of Michael Ndungiu Mwangi (Mathenge TTI). Daughter of Joel Mbaru Ngamau and Cecilia Waniiru Mbaru. Loving Mother to Alan Kinungi (University of Nairobi) and Joel Mbaru (Britain). Sister to Nancy and John Ndung`u, Peter and Leah Karanja of Nakuru; Lydia Muthoni, Timothy and Purity Muturo of Kagio; Pastor Pius and Rose Ngamau (USA); Martin and Nancy Njoroge (Nairobi); Anastasiah and John Muritu, Anthony Ng’ang’a of Gatanga and Michael and Peninah Ndichu of Kiriaini. Sister in Law to John and Susan Njoroge (Nyahururu); Peter Kinungi, David and Hellen Niihia, Francis and Jane Muigai, Lucy and Gichuru and Abraham Kimani all of Thika; Samuel and Rachel Kuria (Mawingu), Stanley and Phyllis Mburu (Kabete), Dishon and Mary Wainaina (Kiriaini). She is a cousin and aunty to many.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday 28th November 2020 at 9.00 am for funeral service at St. Paul Catholic Church, Marewa, Kambirwa at 10.30 am and burial thereafter at their Muthigiriri Farm, Murang’a County.
