MZEE FRANCIS MESO OYANGO

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mzee Francis Meso Oyango of Emasaba Village.

Son of the late Justo Oyango and the late Fanis Matendechere Oyango, the late Susan Oyango and the late Ruth Oyango. Beloved husband of the late Emily Ayako Mesa. Son In Law of the Late Samuel Anzaya and the late Dorcas Anzaya. Father of Prof. Peter Mukana Meso (USA), David O. Meso (ACK Masaba Dispensary), Patrick Moyi Meso (KCA University), Ben Meso (Finetech Technologies), Eng. Mark Solomon Anzaya Meso (USA), Milka Meso Opondo (Riara School) and foster daughter Priscah Mesa (Rudolf Steiner). Father in-law to Elizabeth Rahedi-Mukana, Patricia Ochieno, Beatrice Amagove, Mildred Munyane, Lilian Omondi, Bernice Anzaya and Rolex Opondo.

Grandfather to Sheline, Annette, Frank, Emmy, Elsie, Brandon, Imani, Norah, Neil, Nyrembe, Tiana, Tracy, Liam, Maycy, and Darliance. Brother of the late Esther Maramba, Emily Lando, the late Richard Ombwayo, Crl. Henry Wetende, the late Jackson Alila, the late Alice Wafula, Pauline Wanga, Martha Oyango, Gladys Oyango, Wycliffe Ombwayo, Flora Njogu, Lilian Oyango, the late Josephine Oyango, Joseph Oyango, Moses Oyango, Peter Oyango, and Milton Oyango.

Brother in Law of Alex Chapia, Rose Ngaira, Julius Nganga, the late Philis Ondan, Alice Epiche, Nelda Muculi, Ven John Anzaya, Milka Anzaya, Josephine Alila, Philis Wetende, the late Linet Wetende, the Late Mary Ombwayo, the late Wycliff Sitati, William Wanga, Peter Niogu, Nancy, Beverlyne, Everlyne, Suzane, Jackline among others. He is survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, grandsons and granddaughters.

A prayer service in his memory will be held at ACK St Veronica Church, South B. Nairobi on Wednesday November 25th 2020 from 2.00prn to 3:00pm. Mzee Meso was a member of that church for many years. MOH COVID protocols will be observed.

The cortege leaves Kakamega County funeral parlor at midday on 27th November 2020 for a night vigil and service at his home in Emasaba. The burial will take place on Saturday 28th November 2020 at family home in Emasaba Village, Butere in Kakamega County. MOH COVID protocols will be strictly observed at both services.
