ENG. JAMES BENARD ONYANGO KEBATI

1932- 2020

It is with thanks giving for a life well lived that we announce the passing on of Eng James Benard Onyango Kebati of Kiango Village, Bomachoge Borabu, Kisii County.

James was the son of the late Jesrael Siriba Kebati and the late Elizabeth Monyenye and late Salome Onkomba. He was the loving husband to the late Teresia Kwamboka and late Annah Wamuyu. Loving father to Truphena and Stephen Oyende, John and Nancy Kebati, Peter and Mongina Kebati, Rose and Paul Ssali, Julian Nyangoto, Rose and Justin Gathumbi, Tom and Anne Kebati, Catherine Kebati and Paul and Sally Kebati. Doting grandfather to Allan, Janet, Jael, Alex, Terry, Doris, Ivan, Olsie, Alicia, Ivy, Ian, Emma , Ryam, Mwangi and Ethan. Greatgrandfather to Amaya and Barbara.

Brother to Esther, late Zablon, late Josiah, Elkanah, late Samuel, Milkah, David, Jenes, Josephine, Billia, Jane, Doris, Joseph and late Nyoteyo. Cousin to late Jason, late Oanda, Henry, Ibrahim, Onderi, Billia, Yuniah, Leah, Simon, Siriba, late Anyona among others. Nephew to late Stephen Obure, late Ochego and late Anyona. Son-in-law to Malach Bwana, Truphena and Yunis Bwana (all late), Peninah and Robertson Gachara (all late). In law to late Ezekiel, Abel, Hon. David Bwana, late James Nduhiu, Evelyn Wangui among others.

The funeral will be held Friday 4th December at his home in Kiango, Machoge Borabu, Kisii County starting at 10 am. Following the COVID- 19 protocols, the number or mourners at the homestead will be restricted.
