JANE WAGATU MUNENE

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Jane Wagatu Munene (retired nurse Nairobi City Council) that occurred on 26th November, 2020 after a long illness bravely borne.

Loving wife of Henry Munene Karibiu (formerly of Kenya Airways & Huruma Verona SACCO). Daughter of the late Zachary Gicubi Nyaga, Esther Wakaria and Phyllis Muthoni. Loving mother of Pauline Nyawira and Dan Omondi, Winnie Wambui, Susan Wairimu and George Karuthui both of Gerivia Advocates LLP. Sister of the late Edith, the late Nyaga, Njogu, Njiru, Wambui, Njoki, Wagatu, Wairimu, Wanjiku, Edith, Ndwiga, Wanjira and the late Wanja. Loving grandmother of Sharon, Sheena, Shawn, Elsie, Gakenia, King’uri among others.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Outering Estate House No. 876 and Garden Estate, Mukima Drive House No. M053.

There will be a Memorial Service at ACK St. James Church Buruburu on Thursday 3rd December 2020 starting from 2.00pm.

The Cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Friday 4th ?December, 2020 at 7am.Thereafter, prayers and funeral service will take place at their farm in Kiamutiria, Mutira, Kirinyaga Central, Kirinyaga County at 11.00am.
