It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Miriam Wakonyo Kariuki which occurred on 27th November 2020.

Daughter of the late David Ruoro Kagunyi and the late Grace Ruguru. Beloved wife of the late Kariuki Muhia. Loving mother of Dominic Kagunyi, Susan Wangui Karuga, Jane Ruguru Mwangi, Lucy Njeri Mburu, Solomon Ngugi (Gitithia Mixed Sec School Lari), Patrick Muhia, Ekra Mwihaki, John Mutura Kariuki(JM Bongo Girls Nyandarua), Martha Wangari Kariuki and the late Francis Mwangi Kariuki. Sister of Solomon Ngugi Ruoro of Gakoe Gatundu North, Esther Wagikuyu Ruoro of MwanaWi KioThika, the late Ekra Mwaniki Mwaura and the late Veronica Wathoni Gatoto. Step sister of the late Asford Kinyanjui Ruoro, the late Francis Muthondeki Ruoro, the late Esther Gachiru Gachinga, the late Ruth Wagikuyu Kimata and the late Serah Muringa Kiarii. Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kinari Redrock Lari for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kijabe Mission Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 5th December 2020 at 7:00 am for funeral service at her home in Kinari, Redrock Lari Kiambu County.
