It’s with humble acceptance of Gods will that Kenya Prisons Service announce the untimely demise of Chief Inspector of Prisons (CIP), Mr. Dickson Mogere Joel. Until his death he was serving in Eldoret main Prison .

Son of Joel Momanyi Mogere and Florence Nyang’ate Momanyi. Husband of Grace Nyambura and Damaris Kemunto. Father of Dennis Onyancha (KDF), Wickliffe (Prisons), Ngala, Daisy (Ng’iya Girls) Moindi and Walcot. Brother of Agnes Boruru (Business Lady Nyamira), George Morara (Nyahururu Police Station), Senator Kebaso (Businessman Nyamira), Esther Momanyi (Nairobi Hospital). Cousin of Mogere Bosibori, among others. Brother-in-law of retired Chief Ocharo and Onchonga. Nephew of Onyancha, Evans, Tom, Moindi, Mosomi, Nyaruri and Ochari. Uncle of Gesare, Melvin and Sylvans.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at their home in Nyamira Bomabacho – Nyaigwa Village and others at his home in Kitale, Mukuyuni.

Burial will take place at his farm in Kitale – Mukuyuni Village, on Friday 11th Dec, 2020.
