We are saddened to announce the death of Samson Ombeka Onsongo formerly of KCB which occurred on 4th December, 2020, while undergoing treatment.

Cherished husband of Monica Onsongo Onuonga (KEBS). Son of the late William Ombeka and Priscah Monyangi of Kisii County. Loving Father of Janet Kwamboka (USA), Samuel Ombeka (KEBS), Caroline Nyanganyi, Velma Mokeira and Enid Kerubo. Dearest brother of Jemimah Simba, Robert Ombeka, Naomi, Joyce Orina, Florence and Grace Nyangau.

Son-in-law of the late Mr and Mrs Onuong’a Oseko. Brother-in-law of Johnson, Geoffrey, Norah, jemima, Stephen Oseko,Alfred, Agnes, Faustina, Maureen (Martha), Carren Ombeka, Justus Simba, Moses Koech, the late Obadiah Orina,Thomas Ondicho and Charles Nyangau. Father-in-law of Timothy Moore (USA), Millicent & Paul. Uncle of Joshua, Gilbert, Dancun, Gerald, Douglas, Sharon & others. Cousin of Joash, Joseph, Morara, Henry & Evans Ongicho. Nephew of Peterson Onsongo and Samson Ongicho. Grandfather of Calvin, Priscah, Ethan, Tim Junior and Eileen.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, for Kisii County and burial will take place at his home in Gesangero village – ltibo, on Tuesday 15th December, 2020.
