It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Lawrence Omondi Okudo, of Cabinet Affairs Office – Inspectorate of State Corporations, on 30th November, 2020.

Son of the late Joab Okudo and Meresia Okudo. Son-in-law of the late John Richard Otiende and Benta Otiende. Beloved husband of Salome Otiende Omondi. Father of Martin Omollo Omondi and Lydia Atieno Omondi. Beloved brother of Dr. Achola Okudo, the late George Jaramba, Millicent, Sherry, Dorothy, Francis, Caroline, Elizabeth, Christine and Geoffrey. Brother-in-law of Jane, Anne and Phoebe. Nephew of James and Patricia Owili, the late Joshua and Jane Omange, Daniel and Kezia Ogada and Dorcas Molla. A cousin of Aggrey, Steve, Kathy among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his home in Donholm — Mara Savanah Court B, House No. 140.

The cortege leaves KNH mortuary on 18th December, 2020. He will be laid to rest the following day at his home in Seme Kitmikayi, Kisumu County.
