CHRISTOPHER NDWIGA MUNYI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Christopher Ndwiga Munyi, formerly of Ministry of Local Government and TENRI, Kenya.

Beloved son of the late Benjamin Njeru Mutaku, Mama Peris Igandu and Mama Ruth Wangari. Loving husband of Mercy Zipporah Munyi. Loving father of Poline Munyi (EACC), Felix Rugendo (MSF, Embu), Doris Muthoni (Jeremiah Nyagah TTI), Martha Mukami (NRL Ltd, UK), Dennis Njiru (National Treasury) and George Mugeni (International Tree Foundation, Embu). Brother of Lucy Ruguru and Dickson Mutaku, among others.

Father-in-law of Emily Marigu, the late Sammy Ngatia, Caroline Kemunto, the late Kennedy Njue and Everlyn Pendo. Brother-in-law of Musa Zablon, Charles Njeru, among others. Doting Grandfather of Bryan, Mumbi, Rebecca, Dennis, Victor, Peter, James, Mellisa, Olivia, Patience and Marion. Uncle and father figure of many more.

He will be laid to rest on Wednesday 16th December, 2020. The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home, Embu at 9:00am, thereafter the funeral service and burial at his home in Kararitiri village, Embu County.
