REV. FR. FRANCIS KIMANTHI MUTHANGYA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Rev. Fr. Francis Kimanthi Muthangya, who passed on while undergoing treatment at Mater Hospital- Nairobi, on 01/03/2021. He was ordained into Sacred Priesthood in 2002.

The 5th born son of the late Samson Muthangya and Theresia Syombua. Step-son of Magdalene Mwathi. Brother of Patrick Muthangya, Agnes Katindi, Ruth Nduni, the late Dickson Muoki, Cecilia Kasyoka and Benson Mutuku. Step-brother to Kimeu & Katila, Augustus, Jemimah, the late Kimamo, Ndanu, Makasi, Muthusi and the late Sila.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial preparations at their home and the Catholic Diocese of Kitui Secretariat offices.

The cortege will leave Tribute Funeral home Syongila, Kitui on 08/03/2021 at 8.00am to St. Patrick’s Mutune Catholic Church, for funeral mass and burial thereafter at Mutune Diocesan Cemetery.
