It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Peninnah Wanjiku Kamweru (Woman’s guild, PCEA Gitombo Church) on 8th March 2021.
Wife to Joseph Kamweru Rurinja from Gitombo village — Karera, Kiambu County. Daughter to the late John Igamba Kibe and Milkah Wanjiru Igamba from Komothai Location, Kirigu Village. Daughter-in-law to the late Ephantus Rurinja Kagunda and Margaret Wanjiku Rurinja.
Loving mother to Margaret Wanjiku (Mururia Secondary), Eng Ephantus Mbugua (REREC), John Igamba (QSE), Milkah Wanjiru (Kephis), James Ng’ang’a (CPF) & Peter Kibe (Gitombo). Sister to Esther Waithira, Peter Kibe, Florence Njeri, Joseph Karuga, Eunice Wambui, Beth Wambui, Margaret Wanjiku and Janet Nduta. Mother-in-law to Charles Waruiru, Margaret Wangari, Alice Nyambura, Annahkeziah Wanjira.
Grandmother of Laureen, Sharon, Bridgit, Lewis, Lance, Cherie, Felix, Maureen, Janice, Gasper, Ganix, Melissa, Monalissa, Faith and Dorothy. Great grandmother of Anastasia.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home Gitombo Village-Karera, Komothai Location, Githunguri Sub-County, Kiambu County. The cortege leaves Kigumo Mortuary on Wednesday 17th March 2021 at 8.00am. Funeral service start at 11.00am at her home Gitombo village, Karera, Komothai Location, Kiambu County where she will finally be laid to rest.
