CATHERINE MUTHONI KIHIUHI, HSC

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of sister-in-Christ Catherine Muthoni Kihiuhi, former principal of Karima Girls High School and founder and Executive Director of Neema Children’s Home and Channels of Grace Schools, Kinangop, Nyandarua County, after a short illness.

Daughter of the late David Kihiuhi Waikumari and the late Edith Wambui Kihiuhi. Sister of Margaret Wangui Wachira, the late Mannaseh Ndung’u, the late Wilson Karige and Dr. Jane Mihiuko Kuria. Sister-in-law of the late Joshua Wachira, the late Rose Ndung’u, the late Jacinta Karige and Bernard Kuria Maina. Mother of Joseph Wanjohi and Mary Lynnette Wambui Kariuki. Mother-in-law of Rebecca Wanjohi and James Kariuki Karanja. Grandmother of Jeremy Kariuki, Jason Munge, Stephanie Wangari, Karanja Kariuki and Muthoni Kariuki. A loving cousin and aunt of many.

There will be a short exhortation service at the Kenyatta University Hospital Funeral Home (Northern Bypass), from 7.00am to 8 00am on Tuesday 23rd March 2021. The cortege will then leave the Funeral Home at 8.00am The funeral service will be held on the same day at her home adjacent to Neema Children’s Home near Memo in North Kinangop at 11.00am.

2nd Timothy 4:7 have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day — and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
