It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Charles Henry Mangua, formerly of the African Development Bank and author of Son of Woman, which occurred on the 20th of March 202 at Mater Misericordiae Hospital in Nairobi.

Son of the late Henry Ndegwa and the late Erpharus Wangui of Mutwewathi village, Mukurweini, Nyeri County. Loving husband to the late Rachael Nyambura and Jesse of Abidjan. Doting father to Koinange (Tigoni), Ndegwa (USA), the late Kariuki, Fred (Australia), Eric (Mauritius) Andy (France) Njoori (Germany) and Lucy (UK). Brother to the late Marjory Njeri, Jackson Kariuki, Geoffrey Wachira, Gibson Mbari, Alfred Mutahi Gathoni Ndegwa. He was an uncle, grandfather and great grandfather to many.

Prayers and the funeral service will be held on Thursday the 25th of March 2021 at 10am at Langata Cemetery. Due to the Ministry of Health’s protocols on COVID-19, only family members will be In attendance.
