MAMA TURFENA ALUOCH

The family of Mama Turfena Aluoch announces with great sorrow her passing on, March 20, 2021 at the Nairobi hospital. Mama Turfena Aluoch went home to be with Jesus surrounded by family. The late Mama Turfena Aluoch Omollo hailed from SayeVillage, Kasipul Constituency, Homa Bay County. The body is lying at the Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi.

Daughter of Mzee Justo Rachuonyo and Mama Dora Otengo of Kanam, Karachuonyo. Wife to the late Councillor Philip Omollo Owidi. Co-wife to the late Mama Agnes Aoko Omollo. Sister to Dr. Hosea Odhiambo Rachuonyo, former Provincial Medical Officer in North Eastern and Eastern Provinces (and Deputy DG Health at Afya House), Phoebe Akomo, Damar Oetu,Tuju Rachuonyo, Josiah Amayo, Sipora Agola and Isaiah Rachuonyo.

Mother to the late Kennedy Owidi Omollo, formerly Flamingo Tours and Kobo Safaris, Loise Odwar, Dr. SGR Omollo (Vice President World Vision International), Tom Omollo of IFRC, the late Linda Omollo, Florence Were, Vicky Amadi, Lydia Nyaoke, Maurean Omollo and Calvin Owala of IFRC. Step-mother of Hebei, the late Billy, the late Henry, Dan, the late Dr. AJO were, Jane, Eunice, Jesica, Caren and Lilian.

Mother-in-law to the late Rose, Joy, Martina, Faustine, Dhahabu, Evelyne, Margaret, Alice, Maggi, Pamela, Lilian, Dorothy, Joseph, Cliff, Ken, David and Hesbon. Sister-in-law to the late Mzee Odundo, Nyangoya, Nyakone, Agidho, Were, Margaret, Elsa, Prisca, Elizabeth, the late Helena, Damaris and Zipporah. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Church Service and burial will take place on Thursday 25 March, 2021, at her village in Saye Konyango, Kasipul Constituency In Homa Bay County.
