BISHOP DR. HIRAM WAWERU

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the promotion to Glory of our beloved Bishop Dr. Hiram Waweru, the Founder and presiding Bishop of Victorious Army Church – Kenya, on 26th March 2021.

He was the son to Lilian Wangui Waweru and the Late John Waweru Kairu. Son-in-Law to Penninah Wangui Njuguna and the Late Joseph Njuguna Kirigo. He was the loving husband to Rev. Jane Njeri Waweru and father to Lilian Wacu, John Mwaura and Joseph Mwaura. He was the father-in-law to George Njuguna and Alice Nyawira. He was the brother to Joseph Kairu, Hannah Nduta, Rachel Wambui, Joyce Wanjiru, Mary Njeri, Francis Muchiri, Peter Kimani, Pauline Njoki, the late Nyambura Kamau and the late Esther Wacuka. He was the grandfather to Prince Hiram Mwaura, Victor Joseph Waweru and Liam Hiram Mwaura. He was a doting Uncle and Cousin to many.

The cortege will leave KU Mortuary at 8:00 am for the funeral and burial service at his home in Flyover, Magumu town, Kinangop Subcounty, Nyandarua County on Wednesday 31st March 2021 in accordance with the Covid-19 guidelines.
