JOSEPH BARTAI

1962 – 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and with a heavy heart that we announce the passing away of Mr. Joseph K. Bartai, which occurred on 27th March 2021 after a short illness. Until his death, he was an employee of Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) stationed at Uasin Gishu County.

He was a loving husband of Lucy Jeruto Kiplagat. Son of the late Michael Kimibei Bartai and Salina Jemaiyo Bartai. Father to Derick, Joy, Sharon, Lorna, Sylvia and Brian. Brother to Margaret, Anne, Christine, Stanley, Peter, Caroline,Willy, Late Sammy, Mary, ames. Cousin to Alfred, Isaac, Consobilha, Major Abraham Lagat, Rossy, Christopher, Andrew, Juda amongst many. Grandfather to Chebet and Limo. Father in law to Edwin and Titus.

The cortege will leave Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on 30th March 2021 at 2.00pm. There will be a service for his final send off at his home in Bethany Estate – Mororia village, ken Elgeyo Marakwet County on Wednesday 31st March 2021 .

Philipians 3: 20-21 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
