AMON NJATHI NJUGUNA

10th December, 1930 – 4th April, 2021

With hearts filled with thanksgiving, we announce the passing on of our Dad, Amon Njathi Njuguna, who went to be with The Lord, on 4th April, 2021, after 90 years of a life well-lived.

Son of the late Daudi Njuguna Kagwe and the late Rudia Wangui. Husband of the late Mary Wanjiru Nyakiaro. Father of David Henry and Mary Njuguna, James and Wangeci Munuthi, Jennifer Njathi, Susan and Dr. Nelson Gitau. Brother of the late William and Mary Kagwe, James and Nyambura Gathuri, the late Lennah Wanjiku, the late Daniel and the late Lucy Njuguna, Nahashon and Mary lute, the late Rachel Kihara-Blum, Dr and Mrs. Maluki, Penninah Kalinga and late Justus Kalinga. Grandfather of Nyakiaro and Jacob, Moses and Juliet, Olivia andAndrew, Nancy, Timothy, Trevor and Xaviera. He was blessed with 13 great-grandchildren.

He will be laid to rest on Thursday 8th April 2021, 10.30am at his home in Muongoiya, off Daudi-Kagwe Road. Prayers are being held daily at his home. Dad will be buried strictly in accordance with the MoH COVID- 19 burial guidelines.
