MUIGAI MUTUTA NJAU

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Muigai Mututa Njau that occurred on 2nd April 2021.

Son of the late Njau Muigai (Munyatta) and the late Teresiah Njambi Njau. Step-son of the late Mary Wanjiru Njau and the late Naomi Wanjiru Njau. Beloved husband of Hannah Wanjiru Muigai. Son-in-law of the late Kabucho Ruigu (Ithiri) and Ruth Gathoni Kabucho. Brother of the late Hehu Njau and Peter Muriu Njau. Step-brother of Leah Muereini Ciira (Subukia), the late Rachel Mwihaki Njoroge (Kitale), the late Tabitha Muthoni Thuku (Matathia), the late Ruth Wanjiku Ng’ang’a (Ngochi), the late Esther Muthoni Ngugi (Githunguri) and the late Joyce Mwihaki Njuguna (Riamute).

Loving father of Esther Njambi Kimonyi, Margaret Gathoni, Peter Njau, Jane Mwihaki, Alice Wambui, Loise Muthoni Kinuthia, Jeremiah Kabucho, Grace Wacu Ngure, Samuel Hehu, Ruth Wanjiku Wainaina, George Ruigu, and Joseph Gathumbi. Father-in-law of George Kimonyi, Grace Njeri Njau, Paul Kinuthia (PK), Hannah Wangui Kabucho, Florence Wambui Hehu, Harun Ngure, Samuel Wainaina (Helmot) and Trizah Waithira Gathumbi. A loving grandfather to 34 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are consoling at his home in Kagaa, Lari Sub-county in Kiambu County.

The cortege will depart from Mukoe Funeral Home at 9.00am on Thursday, 8th April, 2021 followed by the funeral service at his home in Kagaa.
