HON. ALEX OLE MAGELO

It is with deep sorrow, and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing of Hon. Alex Ole Magelo, former Speaker of the Nairobi County Assembly and former Chairman of AFC Leopards, which occurred on Friday 7th May, 2021, night at Nairobi Hospital after a short illness.

Son of late Letoya Ole Magelo and the late Susan Magelo of Saiet, Olokurto Narok. Loving husband of Lucy Muthoni Magelo. Committed father of Peter Magelo (USA), Valentine Nashspae (Rwanda) and Maureen Magelo. Grandfather of Katelyn & Addison (USA) and Amadi & Nneka (Rwanda).

Brother of the late Hannah Nkuito, Diana Kenga, Dickson Sankale, Damaris Kumomoru, Harun Magelo, Sitato Magelo, Evelyne Ngugi, Simalo Magelo, Mary Magelo and the late Edward Magelo. Brother-in-law of Ann Kamau, John Kahia, Mary Kahia, Margaret Itotia and Jane Mutisya.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Saturday 15th May 2021 at 6.30am. A private family burial will take place the same day at his home in Kipeto, Kajiado County.

Friends and relatives will meet on Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th May 2021 at All Saints Cathedral. The meetings start at 5.00pm.
