HANNAH WANJIRU MUKURIA (WA JESSE)

It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing on to Glory of our beloved Hannah Wanjiru Mukuria (Wa Jesse) following a short illness. She hailed from Waithaka, Dagoretti South –Nairobi.

Loving daughter of the late Jesse Kangethe Gaitho and the late Mary Wanjiku Kangethe of Waithaka and beloved wife of the late Daniel Mukuria Kariuki. She was a darling mother of Isaac Kariuki and Hellen Wambui (Isagitho), Dr. Jesse Kangethe and Anne Nduta (Salama Pharmaceuticals), Mary Nungari (USA) and the late Simon Kibui, Milicah Njeri and Peter Waweru, Moses Gaitho and Naomi Magunye (Modana Pharmaceuticals), Samuel Kinyanjul and Agnes Njeri (Mzima Supplies).

Sister of John Muchene, Salome Ngina Muhinja, Livingstone Gitau, Agnes Wanjiru, Sophia Nungari Kinuthia, Jane Wanjiku Kioi, Teresiah Wambui Waweru, James Gaitho, Cosmas Thuka, the late Moses Gaitho, Salome Nieri Kiarie,Teresiah Nungari Muchene, Lucy Kangeri Munga, Agnes Waithira, James Chege and Jane Wanjira Wanderi. She was adored by her grandchildren; Dr. Wanjiru Kangethe, Mukuria, Gichunji, Gachucha, Muthoni, Bridget, Karis, Mwangi, Belvia, Hannah, Joyce, Ndungu, Njeri, Joy, Njeri, Ndiba and others.

Funeral service will be held at St. Parthenios Orthodox Church Waithaka on Thursday 13/5/2021 from 9am, followed by burial at the family home near the same church at 1pm.

Family and relatives are meeting daily at her home for burial and funeral arrangements from 3pm.
