It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Daniel Kitum Kawerkeu Kalukwo Langatiba.

Beloved husband of Margaret Talaa and the late Paulina Tula. Son of the late Kawerkeu Kalukwo and the late Ko Kisang and the late Ko Chebet Father of Salome, Jeniffer, Joel. Chebii Kiptum (OCPD Eldoret International Airports), Johana, Jepkorir, Ezekiel, Salina, Wilson, Kipkoech, Kiprotich, the late Susana, the late Albina, the late Jepkemoi. Brother of Ko Jepkorir, the late Ko Cherop, the late Kirop, the late Ko Chesir, the late Ko Chebet and the late Watunane.

Father-in-law of James Kipchumba, Michael Chumo, Sylvester, Joseph Kiplagat, Lydia Kanda, and several others. A grandfather of Kiplagat, Kibet, Rachel, Caroline, Jepchirchir, Duncan, Kimutai, Jepkemoi, Gladys, Kibet, Jerop, Justine, Philemon, Felix, Jerotich, Jemosop, jebichii, Cheruiyot and several others. A great-grandfather of many.

There will be a fundraising on 26th May 2021 at Wagon Wheel Hotel Eldoret and at his home Karel Lukuget Sub-location.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital on Friday 28th May, 2021 at 2.00pm, for overnight Vigil I at his home.The burial will take place on 29th May, 2021, at Karel – Marakwet East Sub-county, Elgeiyo Marakwet County.
