ROBERT KIPKEMOI SOI

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Robert Kipkemoi Soi, which occurred on Wednesday 26th May, 2021 at The Nairobi Hospital.

He was a former news editor at CGTN and former sports anchor at KTN.

He was the son of the Late Senator James Soi, Winsome and Susan Soi of Kabartegan Village Kericho. Son-in-law to the late retired Deputy Police Commissioner Joseph Wambua and Esther Wambua.

Loving husband to Catherine Soi. Brother to Anthony, Caroline (USA), Brenda, Job, Howard, Charles, David, John, Peter and Geoffrey. Brother-in-law to Simiyu, Peggy, Philip, Peter, Sylvia and Donald Glass. He was a nephew to Grace, Susan, Pauline, Winnie, Josephine, Benjamin Koitie, Sally, Bornes, Matthew, Anna, Samuel, Martha and Lily.

Doting uncle to over 25 nieces and nephews including Leticia, Ashley, Mike, Chepkorir, Brian, Chepkemoi, Kevin and Marion. Loving cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Sagret Milimani Hotel between 4pm and 7pm. A fundraising will be held on Wednesday 9th both at Sagret and Kabartegan home.

A requiem mass will be held on Thursday 10th June at his Home in Oloosirkon, Tuala, Kajiado East from 10 am to 12.00 noon.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday 12th, June in Kabartegan Village, Chemosot Sub-County, Kericho County.
