JAMES WAHOME WANJARA “JAWAWA BATA BUSIA”

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of James Wahome Wanjara “Jawawa Bata Busia” on 9th June 2021.

Son of the late Geoffrey Wanjara Muirani and the late Lydia Mumbi Wanjara. He was husband to Florence Wairimu Wahome and Rahab Wanjiku Wahome. Son in Law to the late Peter and Tabitha Gatama and the late James and Tabitha Gitau. Father to Moses Karanja (UK), Geoffrey Maina, Lydia Mumbi (USA), Tabitha Wanjiru, Mercy Wangare, Lucy Mumbi, Geoffrey Maina “Zaccs” (LHGP), Martha Njeri, Jane Gathoni, Sarah Wangare and Ann Wangu.

Father-in-law to Judy Karanja (UK), Catherine Nyambura, Anthony Ndirangu (USA), the late James Ndirangu, John Kimondo (Canada), Bernard Anyolo, Edna Maina, James Mwaura and Anthony Karanja.

Brother to George Wachira, Joseph Waiguru, the late Boniface Wamai, Peterson Karuiki, the late Mercy Wangari, Jane Gathoni and the late Ann Wangu.

Cousin to Beatrice Nderitu, Wanjiru Baru among others. Grandfather to many. Adopted father, mentor and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Busia and Nakuru from 4.30PM.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home-Nakuru at 7.00AM on 19th June 2021. The funeral service will be conducted at Engashura Primary School and he will later be laid to rest at his home in Murunyu, Nakuru.
