ALICE WANGUI MBUGUA (NYINA WA MATHINA)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mrs. Alice Wangui Mbugua (Nyina wa Mathina), which occurred on Sunday 13th June 2021.

Cherished wife of the late Mbugua Kariri (Gikungu). The 2nd borh daughter of the late Mbugua Muinuri & Wacheke Mbugua. Mother of Robert Mathina Mbugua (Formerly of Meteorological Department), the late Stansilus Kamau Mbugua and Margret Wanjiru Mbugua.

Step-mother of John Mburu Mbugua (Ndalani), Tabitha Wanjiru Kariuki (Kigumo), Hannah Wanjiku Mbugua Gichunji (Kigumo), Francis Wamiti, the late James Wainaina (Thika),Thomas Njoroge Mbugua (Lortoktok), Bernard Kariuki & Mwalimu Regina Wangui Mbugua.

Sister to the late Kinyanjui Mbugua (Juja), the late Mary Wanja Njihia (Thika), John Njihia Mbugua (Thika) & the late Julius Karanja. She is, blessed with several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Friends & relatives are meeting daily at her home Kiamworia Village for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kigumo Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 19th June, 2021 at 9.00am, for funeral service at A.I.P.C.A St Peter Church Kiamworia. Thereafter, burial at their family farm in Kiamworia Village, Kiganjo Location, Gatundu South – Kiambu County.
