MAUREEN AKINYI OBIYO

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Maureen Akinyi Obiyo, which occurred on Wednesday 02nd June, 2021.

Daughter of the late Mr. Welfare Obiyo and Mrs. Josephine Obiyo. Sister of Fred Obiyo, Pauline Obiyo, Felix Obiyo and Brian Obiyo. Granddaughter of the late Lawi and the late Diana Obiyo, the late Fulgens and the late Margret Oketch.

Niece of the late George Obiyo,Wilkister Obiyo, the late Agneta Obiyo, Constance Okoth, Alex Okoth, John Alunga, Lola Alunga, Pamela Obare, Jacob Obare, Alfred Obiyo, Trizah Obiyo, Serphine Mawira, the Mawira’s, Jack Ogola, Job Agutu, the Elijah’s, the Auso’s, the Ogam’s and many others. Cousin of the Ogwang’s, Agneta’s, Okoth’s, Alunga’s, Obare’s, Ouma’s Mawira’s, amongst many others.

The cortege leaves Coast General Mortuary on Thursday 17/06/2021. Burial will be on Saturday 19/06/2021, at her parent’s home Goma village Yimbo Central Location.
