SAMUEL KANGETHE MWAURA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce the passing on of our beloved Father Mr. Samuel Kangethe Mwaura, that occurred on Saturday 19th June, 2021, peacefully at his home in Mabanda village in Gatanga.

He was the first born son of the late Nicholas Mwaura and Edith Wanjiru. Son-in-law of the late Jairus Maiteri and the late Esther Wanjiru. Husband of Annecy Beatrice Njeri Kangethe. Loving father of Nicholas and Catherine Mwaura, Cornellius and Irene Maiteri, Mark Mbugua, Richard Thiga, Grace Wambui and Michael and Yvonne Kabati Brother of Elizabeth Wanjira Kiwanuka, the late Lucy Njoki, Rachel Wambui Njuguna, the late Simon Mbugua, John Kabati Mwaura, Mary Nyambura, Charles Muniu and Hellen Wanjiku. Grandfather of Ian, Sarah, Cleef, Njeri, Wanjiru, Wambui, Shantel, Mark and Great-grandfather to Oliver. Uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather and friend to many.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday 26th June, 2021. The cortege will leave Montenzuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Kabati, along Thika Road, at 9.00am, for his home at Mabanda, Gachonde Village Gatanga. Covid19 protocols will be strictly adhered to.
