We regret to announce the death of Jaduong’ Helekiah Ong’any Masara of Kano, Wang’aya 1 Sublocation, Ngere Village.

Son to the Late Masara Owaga and the Late Salome Boro. Husband to the late Florence Ong’any, Grace Ong’any and Jane Onga’ny. Father to George Ong’any (Van den Berge), Judith Okoko (Bliss HealthCare Kisumu), Joshua Ong’any (EABL), Geoffrey Ajuok Ong’any (NCCK Jumia Hospital),the Late Eng. William Ong’any (KERA) the Late Mary Auma Ong’any (Itierio Mission Hospital, Kisii), the Late Caroline Ong’any, David Ong’any, Kennedy Ong’any (Kenya Navy), Sally Ong’any, Maureen Ong’any, Dennis Ong’any and Lavender Ong’any.

Father in Law to Jane Onyango (Jomo Kenyatta Foundation, Nairobi), the late Shadrack Okoko, Beatrice Owino, the late Joash Owino Abala, Diana Ndessy (St. Austine Academy, Nairobi) and Joan Ochieng. Grandfather to Fred, Stella, Cynthia, Valdore, Santos, Mitchelle, Caroline, Wendy, Valerie among others.

Brother to the late Consolata Nyumba, Mary Olulo, Oricho Liech, Otieno Liech, Albert Ongere, the Late Mbeche Ong’ombe and the Late Ong’ombe Ong’ombe among others. Brother in law to the late Mikoma and Enos Abondo of Wasare. Uncle to Dalmas Kanyumba and Julius Kanyumba among others. He leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 2 beautiful great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Maseno Mission Hospital on Friday the 25th day of June, 2021 in the morning for burial on the same day at his home in Ngere Village, Wang’aya 1 Sub location near Ogwedhi Market.
