It is with great sorrow that we announce the demise of Mr. Joseph Ndungu Wainaina which occurred on Wednesday 30th June, 2021 after a long illness bravely borne.

Loving husband of Mrs. Lilian Wangui Wainaina. Beloved son of the late Mr. Andrew Wainalna and the late Mrs. Wangui Wainaina. Father of Jackline Njeri (TSC), Edwin Wainaina (Mt Kenya University), Caroline Njoki (Office of the Auditor General) and Denis Mureithi (Kenya Airways). Father-in-law of Kevin Kago (Champions Dealership) and Ednah Mwende (KRA).

A loving grandfather of Chelsea Wambui, Maisey Wangui, Bianca Wangui, Wacera Kuria, Kago Kuhla and Thea Wangui. Brother of Hannah Magiri, the late Stephen Mwangi, Peter Njogu, Grace Magiri, Margaret Muthoni and Jane Wanjiru.

Family and friends shall congregate at Montezuma funeral home, Nairobi at 7.00am on Wednesday 7th July, 2021 and thereafter the cortege shall leave for the funeral service at his home in Ngong Town. The burial will take place at the same venue.

Meetings are being held daily at his home in Ngong Town from 4.00pm – 6.00pm.
