It is with deep sorrow and acceptance that we announce the passing of Sister Rose Adhiambo Okwirri, who was pronounced to glory on Wednesday 23rd June, 2021, after a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved daughter of Mzee Joshua Opar Opana and the late Mama Miriam Muga Opar. Loving wife of Dr. Joseph Okwirri of Provincial General Hospital, Nakuru. Mother of the late Effie Adhiambo, late Sam Okwirri, Joy Sheila (UoN) and Jim Pride. Sister of Eunice, Benjamin, Anne, David, Benard, Monica, Joram (USA), Paul (USA), lrine (USA), Judith, Pamela (USA), Okiki, Kevin, Geoffrey and Linda.

Daughter-in-law of the late Mzee Pius Okwirri and Mama Margaret and Mama Siprosa. Sister-in-law of Mathews, Lawrence, Tom, Chris, Mark, Silvanus, Peter, Jacob, Patrick. Others are the late John, the late Thomas, Walter and Philip. Others are: Antonina, Angeline, Elizabeth, Connie, Rosemary, the late Terry, the late Bentz, Mary, Dorothy, Mark and Goretty.

The cortege leaves Nakuru War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Friday 9th July, 2021, at 4.00am. The 2021 burial will take place the same day at Ngere Ka Oro village, three kilometres from Awasi Town, along Kericho – Kisumu Highway. The celebration of a Life Well Lived and Thanksgiving Service will take place at their Awasi home from 8.00am at the same venue. (All Covid- 19 protocols will be strictly be adhered to).

Family and Friends are meeting daily at their home in Mountain View Estate residence, next to St_ Mary’s Pastoral Centre, Nakuru for burial arrangements ahead of the official fundraising on Thursday 8th July, 2021.
