With great sadness we announce the passing on to Glory of our much loved and cherished Phoebe Njeri Njoroge on the afternoon of Tuesday July 6th, 2021.

Phoebe was the much loved wife of Mwalimu Kenneth Njoroge of Thogoto Village. Cherished mother of Gitau and Susan Gitau, Wambui and Njoroge Regeru, Wambui and Ebrom Casselle, Arthur and Catherine Njoroge and Gilbert and Ann Ngwiri. Treasured Grandmother of Wambui and Regs, Jogs, Eva, Ivy, Sam, Tim, Waiyaki, Matthew and Martin, Wema, Furaha and Jeremy.

Sister to Late Damaris and Late Gerishom Mbugua, Late Sarah and Late Sospeter Muraga, Late Manasses and Late Mary Kuria, Late Mary and Late George Kagia, Amon and Late Naomi Mbugua, Gad and Mary Karanja, Late Rachel and Late Wallace Nduuru Githire, Margaret and Paul Kiratu and James and Lucy Kuria.

Beloved Aunt to Keziah and John Njoroge families and Feleciah and Teman Gitau families. Sister-in-law to Late Dr Francis and Elmah Ngwere, Late Rose and Ishmael Ng’ang’a, Late Charles and Violet Cungu, Grace and Late Peter King`atua, Late David and Grace Gitau, Late Catherine Wangari, Late Mercy Wanjiru, Late Ben and Naomi Gitau, Late Professor Abel and Professor- Olive Mugenda , Nellie and Francis Kihiu and Lawrence Munyua.

Prayers will be held from Thursday 8th July, 2021 to Saturday 10th July, 2021 between 4pm and 5pm at her Thogoto Village home. To observe Ministry of Health Covid- 19 guidelines there will be very limited seating at the daily services at home.

A celebratory Service will be held from 3pm on Sunday 11th July, 2021 at Compass School grounds, Thogoto Village.

The funeral service will be held at PCEA Church of The Torch, Thogoto on Tuesday 13th July, 2021 from 11am. Burial to follow at the Church cemetery adjacent to the Church. Ministry of Health Covid-19 guidelines and protocols will be strictly observed. There will be live streaming of the funeral service.

Philippians 3: 20-21 ‘For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the workings by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself’.
