Son of the late Major Ogolla Nyanya and the late Elizabeth Mudiwo. Loving Husband of Seline Auma Nyanya. Father of the late David Ochieng, Atieno, Ben, Lucy, Nelly, Monica and Tass. Brother of Dominic Nyanya, Johannes, the late Hezborn, Mengo, Peter, the late Daniel Nyanya, the late W. W. Otieno, Victoria, the late Maria, the late Josephine Ofwona, among others.

Grandfather of Shannel, Laurent,Alma, Nelly, Chantel, Cheryl, Nigel, Teddy, Pharrel, Cayden, Jeremie, Shannel, Bill, Lyon, Tamira, Sandra, Virginia, Marline. Father-in-law of Alphonsus, Horst, Kate Rangi, Nina, Frank, Hellen and Uncle of many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on 20th July, 2021, at 8.00am. Burial and Funeral Arrangements will be held on Wednesday 21st July, 2021, from 9.09am, at his home in Sega Village, Kagonya Sub-location, North Ugenya Location in Siaya County.
