AUGUSTINE OKOTH OWINY

Born: 13th May, 1967 — Rested: 6th July, 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden promotion to glory of our beloved member of the family Mr.Augustine Okoth Owiny on July 6th, 2021, at Nairobi Hospital. He worked for the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), as an Internal Auditor.

Son of the late Joseph Owiny Odera and the late Mama Teresa Migono Owiny. Step-son of Mama Mary Achieng Owiny. Beloved husband of Caroline Okonji (Business lady at Ongata Rongai). Father of Janet Adwar (Technical University of Mombasa), Anita Mugono (Technical University of Mombasa), Mark Ogoye and Anjeline Ongwen (Ongata Schools).

Brother of Gaudensia Omollo (Joseph Kang’ethe Primary School), Magrete Onyango, Boniface Abondo, Anjellne Oyucho, Herine Ayugi, Thomas A. Owiny (KNEC), John Odhiambo, Peter Odera (Shofco), Josephine Owuor, the late George Omondi, Pamela Ondiek, Caroline Adhiambo, Mercyanna Okoth and Florence Atieno.

Uncle of Judith, Onyango, Paul, Benedetta, Ochieng, Hilary, Eve, Kelcy, Talia, amongst many others. Nephew of the late Remjus Radero Odera, the late Mathew Owenga Odera and Aloice Aboko Odera.

An in-law of Pamela Abondo, Beatrice Akello, Emily Odhiambo, Caroline Odera, Hellen Okonji and Benter Okonji from Seme Kolunje, George Omollo Diang’a, George Onyango Ayi, John Martin Oyuch, Joseph Ayugi, Joshua Ondiek, Collins Okoth and the late Henry Ogola, Betty Hosea, Peter Okonji, Benard Otleno (SuperSport) George Odhiambo, Antony Okonji, Maurice Okonji, George Okonji, David Oluoch (The Konya Police Service) and Jimmy Okonji.

The cortege will leaves Montenzuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Nairobi and burial will be on Saturday July 17th, 2021, at their home in Gem Kambare, Gem Wagai Sub-county, Siaya County.
