ELIUD AMBOKO MBAYA

We regret to announce the demise of Mr. Eliud Amboko Mbaya of The National Land Commission, which occurred on Monday 12th July, 2021,   following a short illness.

Son of the late Moses Aluhwa Mbaya and the late Elizabeth Shanyisa Mbaya. Son-in-law of Felix and Florence Nderitu of Chaka, Kiganjo, Nyeri County. Husband of Bernice Wangari Amboko. Father of Jean Nyawira Amboko and Mitchelle Shanyisa Amboko. Father-in-law of Robert Kigotho Maina. Grandfather of Lyla Marie Wangari Maina and Lyle Lyrome Nderitu Maina.

Brother of Margaret Lugonzo, David Aluhwa, Joyce Kharikala, the late Ken Mbaya, Vincent Yavatsa, Judie Isavakho, Dr. Cliff Mbaya and the late Tony Mbaya. Brother-in-law of Jacqueline Aluhwa, Dora Yavatsa, Norah Mbaya, the late Judy Mukuhi, Francis Gichuhi, Peris Mwihaki and Geoffrey Muthui. In-law of Mary Njoki and Walter Kigotho Ritho and the late Rose Nekesa Narwanda.

Uncle of Catherine Lugonzo, Allan, Elizabeth and Shilwatso Aluhwa, Olga, Mose, Ludia, Shanyisa and Musa Yavatsa, Milavi Wanasika, and Stephanie Shanyisa Mbaya. Nephew of the late Tabitha Shilwatso Mulindi, the late Truphena Njilimani, the late Shem Shitemi Shisanya, the late Jeremiah Wilunda, the late Peter and Mrs. Bilhah Shiyukah, the late Mary Luyayi, late Captain Eliud Mumia and Flora Mumia, Rose, the late Susan, George, Rebecca and Mercy Anyonyi. Cousin of the Mulindi’s, Shisanya’s, the Wilunda’s, the Shiyukah’s, and the Luyayi’s.

A memorial service will be held at ACK, St James Buruburu Church at 1:30 pm on Friday 16th July 2021. The burial is scheduled for Monday 19th July 2021, Muraka Village, Shinyalu, Kakamega County.
