It is with acceptance of God’s wed that we announce the demise of Catherine Kinanu Nkanata of Royal Associates Insurance Brokers which occurred on 24/07/2021 at Agakhan hospital after a long battle with cancer

Daughter to the late Nkanata and Eunice Nkanata. Loving mother to Roy Kimathi of Almasi School

Sister to John Keburu, the late Robert Kirugi, Douglas Kinyua, David Nyaga, Wilfred Kithinji, the late Joyce Karambu and Belta Gatwiri. Sister in law to Mwikali, Kagendo, Kananu, Nduku, Karoki.

Aunt to Carol, Sharon, Mike, Denis, Christine, Paul, Martin, Mueni, Mawira, Kinoti, Mureti, Abigail among many others. Grandma to Baraka, Aciora, Rico, Ronnel, Blessy, Favor, Njeri among others. She was a loving niece, cousin, colleague, neighbour and a friend to many.

There will be a requiem mass at CITAM Valley Road on Thursday 29/07/2021 from 11.00am.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Funeral Home on Saturday 31/07/21 at 6:00 am for funeral service at Kithangari PCEA church from 11:00am and thereafter lay her to rest at her home in Chwa Kithangari location, South Imenti, Meru county.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Athi River and at her parents’ home in Kithangari village from 5.30pm.
