HANNAH WANGUI KIMANI (NYINA WA THUKU)

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of Mrs. Hannah Wangui Kimani (Nyina wa Thuku).

Daughter of the Late Ibrahim Thuku Wanjohi and the late Esther Muringo Thuku of Karuthi, Nyeri County. Wife to the late Peter Kimani Kamau. Mother to the late Samuel Kamau Kimani, the late Jane Lucy Njeri Kimani, Joseph Ng’ang’a Kimani and Abraham Thuku Kimani of Abraham’s Water Services. Sister to John Thion’go Thuku (Gathiong’o), Mary Wangari Kamau, Leah Wanjiku Ndung’u, Bilhah Wakarindi Wananu, the late Evan Wanjohi, the late Peter Waihura and the late Grace Muthoni Kariuki.

Mother in law to Mrs. Agnes Mukuhi Kamau and Mrs. Winfred Wambui Thuku. Grandmother to Benjamin Kimani Kamau(USA), Elijah Reese Kamau (USA), Julianne Wangui Kimani, Rose Wachuka Thuku, Annah Wangui Kamau, Nellie Wambui Kamau, Peter Kimani Thuku (USA), Lucia Njeri Kamau, Arnold Kamau Thuku (USA), Comfort Wangui Thuku (USA), Loise Munjiru Thuku, Marine Wangui Thuku, and Lucy Njeri Thuku. Great Grandmother to Jane Wahu, Xariah Reese Kamau, Noah Righteous Kamau, Ignatius Iriga Nderi and Nicholus Njenga.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday 30th July 2021 at 9.00 AM for a funeral service at ACK St. Paul’s Mother Church Kabete rounds (next to Mary Leakey Girls’ High School), beginning at 11.00 AM; followed by the burial at her home in Mararo village, Lower Kabete.
