It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Captain David Kiplimo Tanui (former pilot at Wilson airport) on 04/08/2021.

Son to the late Mr. Benjamin Kipkoech Tanui and Rhoda Tanui. Step son to Esther Tanui and the late Scholastica Tanui. Brother to Ruth Jemaiyo, Step brother to the late Richard Kipkios Mutai, the late Emmy Jepkosgei, the late Paul Kiptenai Koech, the late Jane Jepkorir, Noadia Sorobit, Pauline Nango, Daniel Kiptoo Tanui, Jackline jepkemboi, Patricia jepkosgei, and Anthony Kipkorir Koech.

Husband to Pauline Jerop Tanui and Lilian Wanja. Father to Liza Jepkemboi, Ronald Kipchirchir Tanui, Jean Jelagat, Erick Waithaka and Rhoda Jebet. Grandfather to Yasmin Angel, Tehilla Paulette, Fairuz Jepkoech, Ivy Jebet, Ariella Jeanette, Ivan Kipchumba Brian Kipkemboi among others. Father in law to Joseph Gitau, Ascah Jebitok and Abigail Jelagat. A Cousin and Uncle to many.

There will be a fundraising to offset the hospital bill and funeral expenses at his home in Mogobich- Nandi county on Tuesday 10th August 2021.

The Burial will be held at his home in Mogobich Tea Estate (Kaptanui), Kapchorua Ward, Nandi County on Thursday 12th of August 2021.
